Good day,
I am writing this anonymously, for a friend who was mobbed by a gang around the industrial estate, near the co-op to Monteigne drive.
She is a beautiful, aspiring 17 year old young woman with a diagnosis of Aspergers, although you would never tell
She has came home reduced to tears today, on what was supposed to be the day she was going to a friends party.
What she has told me, is that she was walking home after collecting money fro the co-op, when a gang of 7 or so lads began to follow her home, shouting ablest slurs of her being a 'spacker'. These so called 'human beings' apparently knew her from junior school, and decided after all these years to attack her again.
Yards away form her home, they managed to hit her on the shoulder with a snowball made of hard ice. As a considerate, kind girl she walked to them to ask why they were doing it, only to have more snowballs thrown at her, and more ablest slurs.
All she wanted, was an apology and to talk; and all THEY did was continue to throw snowballs at her head, chest and arms while calling her names such as freak, weirdo, and crazy. In the end, they ran off and she began to cry against a wall. In the cold snow. Thankfully, a nice lady escorted her some (whoever that was, a MASSIVE thank you)
I would like ANYONE who has seen these disgusting people to report them to the police. She can only remember (as emotional trauma can affect autistic peoples memory) that there were a gang of around 7. She can remember two names of them, but not the surnames. The first names are Jamie and Connor. One of them was wearing all grey, and the majority were wearing hats with tassles on the sides. The group ranged from 5"6 to 6"0.
Our village does not deserve these scumbags to traumatize anyone else, and I am taking this to the council. This poor lass did NOTHING to provoke them.
