The drama project first announced in the latest Bowburn Interchange gets underway next weekend (not this one!) It will be about Bowburn’s famous Edith Cavell banner and is planned to lead to a performance at Bowburn Community Centre on 13th July, the night before this year’s Durham Miners’ Gala. Jack Drum Arts will lead a drama workshop for people thinking of being involved. It will be held at Bowburn Community Centre, on Saturday 21st April, from 10am till 12 noon. Everyone is invited – children and young people, parents and grandparents, and everyone interested in our village’s mining heritage. There is more about this, and about the Norfolk nurse who became Bowburn’s World War I hero, on the Bowburn Banner Group website: bannergroup.bowburn.net/news.htmFor more information, ring 01388 765002 or 0191-377-1491 Attachments:
